About Me

Dr. Basl Al-Khalidi

consultant internal medicine specialist and a specialist in gastroenterology, liver, and diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.

 

 Dr. Basil Al-Khalidi holds a medical degree from Damascus University and the Jordanian Board in Internal Medicine, and the Jordanian Board in Gastroenterology, Endoscopy and Hepatology.

 Dr. Basil gained extensive experience in his field, as he received his training during his residency at the University of Jordan Hospital, and then worked in many hospitals inside and outside the Kingdom, such as: Istiqlal Hospital, Aqaba Islamic Hospital, Jordan University Hospital, and Al-Ahly Hospital in Qatar. 

Dr. Basil Al-Khalidi provides all treatments related to diseases of the digestive system, such as irritable bowel diseases, indigestion, gastroesophageal reflux, immune colon diseases, enteritis, acute and chronic liver diseases and cirrhosis, diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy and colonoscopy, biliary endoscopy, and endoscopic obesity treatment using Gastric balloon, treatment of acute gastrointestinal bleeding and endoscopic ligation of esophageal varices.
